Just Draw It - New Drawing Course!
June 28, 2009

Hi there,

Mitch here. I've been hinting at a new drawing course that I've been working on, and I wanted to fill you in on everything that has been going on. The new course is called Caricature Secrets and will pick up where the extremely popular Figure Drawing Head course left off. If you want to draw great looking Caricature cartoons of your friends, family and loved ones - this is the course that you have been waiting for!

Things are moving pretty fast now with the Caricature Secrets course and I just wanted to give you a quick update...

First off, I now have an official launch date and time:

** Monday, June 29th at 6:00pm Pacific **

As I write this, it is just a little over two days away!

It's been a long road, and I still have a few details to square away, but it's going to be a huge relief to get this launch and get it out into your hands.

In the meantime, I've put up a countdown timer that you can watch as the course launch date gets closer:

It will automatically redirect you to the order page once I start taking orders on Monday.

Also, if you haven't noticed, I've been updating the Caricature Secrets "News" site over at http://www.caricaturesecrets.com/blog quite a bit... here are some of the things I have posted...

- Concern #1... Many people really struggle with getting a likeness when they try to draw a face. This applies to both caricature and portrait drawing and is one of the keys that you will need to master. I've addressed this concern on the new site and in the full course you will get a real in-depth analysis of a lot of different faces and how you can learn to look at the face and draw the key features that are going to make your drawing look like the actual person. More details here:

- Concern #2... How do you draw the features of the face?
To make drawing the features of the face as easy as possible I've released an article that will help you approach the features in a new way, along with some visual examples to show you exactly what I am talking about. This is really just the tip of the iceberg because there are lots of easy to follow formulas that I've prepared to draw the nose, eyes, hair, mouth, and ears from the side, front and three quarter views of the face that are taught in detail in the full course. More details here:

- Finally, I uploaded a "Spy Photo" of the entire course. Naturally, it really isn't a 'spy photo'... this is just a snapshot I took after it got a little too excited when I saw the first copy the course. You can see the spy photo here:

There's also some additional bonuses that I have made available only to those people who signed up for the First-in-Line information over at the CaricatureSecrets.com Blog if you are looking for even more lessons and information. It's been a busy month, and I hope you'll be able to join in on Monday when the course goes on sale. People are already asking how they can get the course and as there is a limited quantity, it's sure to go quick!

I'll be in touch soon with additional infomation about the whole event.

Best wishes,

Mitch Bowler
